Who we are — and who we are not

Apostille Anywhere is a private, independent document-logistics and expediting service. We are not the FBI, not the U.S. Department of State, and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government agency. The documents we help you obtain are available directly from the government at lower cost: the FBI Identity History Summary fee is $18 and the U.S. Department of State apostille fee is $20 per document. What you pay us for is logistics the government does not provide — coordinating fingerprint submission from abroad, hand-delivering documents to the State Department's public drop-off window in Washington, DC, tracking your order, and shipping your finished documents internationally. Note that the FBI does not mail Identity History Summaries to addresses outside the United States, which is the practical problem our service exists to solve.

What we do

• Guide you through getting fingerprinted where you live and submitting them for an FBI Identity History Summary request.
• Hand-deliver your document to the U.S. Department of State's Office of Authentications for an apostille.
• Arrange certified translation when included in your package.
• Send you a PDF scan when your apostille is ready and ship the physical original to you by courier.

Timelines are estimates

The timeframes on our site (FBI results in ~24 hours on business days; apostille in ~10 business days) are based on the government's own published processing windows and our real experience. They are honest estimates, not guarantees — government processing times can change and are outside our control. We commit to starting your order promptly, using the fastest legitimate process available, and keeping you informed at every step.

Refund policy

• If we cannot obtain your FBI Identity History Summary and apostille, you receive a full refund — including our service fee.
• If your order is delayed because a government office changes its processing times, we will tell you immediately and work with you on options; delays alone (as opposed to failure to deliver) are not grounds for a refund once government fees have been paid on your behalf.
• If you cancel before we have submitted anything to the FBI, you receive a full refund. After submission, government fees already paid are not recoverable, but we will refund any unearned portion of our service fee.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, truthful information and legible fingerprints. Government rejections caused by inaccurate information you provided may require a new submission and new government fees.
• The FBI Identity History Summary reports whatever the FBI's records contain. We have no ability to view it in advance, alter it, or influence its contents.
• Confirm with the receiving authority (embassy, ministry, employer) exactly which documents they require — we handle the U.S. side; requirements abroad are set by the receiving country.

Limits of our service

We provide document logistics only. We do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, or visa representation. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected order.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices shown on the site are all-in totals; each package's breakdown of government fees versus our service fee is shown in the pricing section.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
